Ancestral Lucena with host
A pleasant experience to live in family, with our partner or between friends, in which we will discover the farthest past of Lucena. Throughout the activity we will visit the visit to the Cave of the Angel, the Visigothic Basilica, the Archaeological and Ethnological Museum of the Moral Castle and the Cave of the Angel Room which is located in the Interpretation Center of the city in the Palace of the Counts of Santa Ana.
As soon as we begin, we will visit La Cueva del Ángel, which dates back to the Lower Palaeolithic. From the Mousterian period, the remains of a pre-Andean man (one million years old) and animals such as the elephant or the bison.
The Visigothic Basilica is the oldest in the entire Iberian Peninsula built in the time of Constantine (half of S.IV d.C.) leaves us record that the Byzantine Empire had a settlement in Lucena and the first Christian cults.
